CNY

So, how was your first day of Chinese New Year guys? :)
Mine, compared to last year and the year before... wasn't that great. Le sigh.

I remember being all hyped up for CNY when I was little, my mom would dress me up and my cousin would help me tie like a million braids on my head... my relatives and grandparents would tell me that I look like Jolin Tsai HAHAHAHA. Ahhhhh.. those days.

Anyway, I woke up on the first day realizing that - being the klutz I am - I forgot to switch on the plug when I was charging my phone the night before. Then things started going not-so-well... but everything was good when we went visiting. Thank goodness.

Not much photos were taken but I'll update all the pics I have in another post, I guess? At night my cousins and my brother and I went to catch the movie "The Viral Factor". It is a super action-packed movie full of fighting, gun shots and all, but I... surprisingly enjoyed it! Who knew that I'd be into these sort of movies? (Nicholas Tse looks burnin hottttttt with those tatts on his arms by the way!)

So we got home in the middle of the night and ahhhhhhh I was dead tired. Day 1 could've been better though. I remember winning $200+ when gambling with my cousins and uncles/aunts in 2010. I lost over $70 last year!! But this year I only won 8 pathetic dollars hahaha oh well, better than nothing!!

My angpaos were much lesser (quantity & amount) than the previous years... but I really can't complain. I mean, if I were to be married and I have to bao like 100 ang paos for all the kids ah... god. I hope next year's CNY would be better, though I don't really expect much of CNY anymore, sadly.

Don't know about you all but... I'm not feeling the CNY mood yet! It's one of my favourite holidays(albeit a short one)... but I'm just not feeling it!! Maybe the older I get the less enthu I'll be for these kind of occasions hahahaha. Ahhhhhhh oh well, looking forward to meeting my relatives, reunion dinner... getting red packets(if I tell you I'm not anticipating about that, I'd obviously be lying omg) and nomming on the CNY goodies!! I gotta limit myself on the goodies this time!!

Pre-CNY + "We Not Naughty"

Hi guys, I'm sure most of you reading my blog are secondary school students and you guys must have had your Chinese New Year celebration in school today right? Well mine was... typical...

Okay let's skip the part where I got humiliated by Mr. Lai!! He totally announced my name(with some others) to the whole school asking us to report to our DM hahaha I swear this is soooooo not helping my wanting-to-show-people-that-i'm-completely-staying-out-of-trouble-this-year plan. And I can promise you guys that I did nothing wrong. *cross my heart*

Anyways after school, me and my former classmates(miss them sooooo much) had a little get-together and we caught the movie "We Not Naughty" at Kallang Leisure Park. 

The movie was daaaaaaaaaaamn good I swear. 5 out of 5 stars. Jack Neo really did it this time. MUST. WATCH. One of the best local films ever. It was so hilarious and I don't think I've ever laughed so hard watching a movie. Plus you get to learn morals/little life lessons from it. Boys you should really watch it because you guys might SPOILER ALERT learn to appreciate your mother more.

Oh and today, it was one of my classmates' birthday and my teacher was like, "Whoa, see, you are usually quiet in class but today you are so hyper.. *about to start her boring lecture*" until I told her, "It's his birthday today!" and she said something which I thought was pretty true.

"Number 1, on your birthday, THANK YOUR MOTHER. Today is not totally about you you know. It can be a torturous day for your mother as well. So thank her." Thank her for bringing you into this world. Thank her for everything.

"Number 2, on your birthday, BE THANKFUL THAT YOU'RE STILL HERE." (I forgot what she said after that lah so I'm going to add a bit of words from yours truly hahahahahaha) Because there are also people who weren't able to make it to 2012. So be grateful.

And..... my mind went entirely blank 1 second ago. I guess I only remembered the important things she said lah but yeah, just thought I'd share this with you guys.

13th day of 2012

Sup everyone. Day 13 of 2012; 9th Day of School: Shitty as ever. I feel like killing myself. I really want to do well and get the fuck out of there graduate. But the rules are pissin' me off I mean whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat????! No black-brown coloured contacts? "Mine have degree okay." "So?" "So I can't see clearly." "Then good lah." I was THIS CLOSE --> <--- to punching you in the face.

Anyway, I've been doing a LOT of revision and homework during detention nowadays(7 more days to go #prayforcarrine), which is a good thing. I must stay motivated. I must be determined. *slowly breathes in and out*

So after detention today(we got to left early to register for our IC stuff), was waiting for Pingswen's text so I sat under one of the void decks opposite school with Jeremy - who was waiting for a friend as well - like typical young punkszzxzxzxzxzx and talked about lots of hilarious/serious nonsense. One of my bestest guy friends, that faggot.

Met Pingswen and we had S♥gurt! And we literally walked around Parkway afterwards. Singapore is so small all of my friends and I are sorta running out of place to go!!! SIGH. Anyhoo, I got the lip balm I've been eyeing on for quite a period of time from Maybelline and I got a new book! We kinda spammed photos so yep the quality is meh but the iPhone photo apps with the effects and all..... whoa bless you Apple.

I had to make the picture damn small because hais the quality of the inner cam can be quite shitty sometimes.

 So I got bored during Geography class... I swear, 3 lessons and my teacher hasn't even gone through ONE slide(of her powerpoint nonsense). *rolls eyes*

Yes I am forever looking this tired in school. And this qt pie next to me is Guanwee hahahahaha one of the greatest friends you can ever ask for.

FNIS - Fuck No It's Sunday

So it's Monday again tomorrow. Feelin so tired......... and a lil nostalgic. I've been thinking a lot about the past these days. I STILL can't bring myself to accept the fact that it is 2012 already. School has been really nerve-racking, even though the people who see me can't really tell but... a smile hides a lot.

What I've been up to lately... hmmm... I met Aiqin today(missed her so much, she's one of the VERY few people I could tell my problems and all to..) and I got my pink screen protector and she got her iPhone!! Finally, looking forward to video chat with her via our iPhones during tedious lessons in school. I'll prolly post up some overdue pictures tomorrow or the day after.

School

Gotten over the first week of school. Finally. NOT  looking forward to Monday though. The new principal, vice-principal, the new system in school and the new rules... Wow. 1 word: Shit. I even got threatened with expulsion for fuck's sake. Well, kick me out before the level camp please. Why is that shit compulsory anyway?

Ufffffffgh kill me now. The new vice-principal even threw away all my favourite studs(my fucking $$$$$...). Screw secondary school rules man, I don't see how the colour of my hair, the length of my skirt/socks or the number of piercings I have could affect my studies. I completed all of my freaking homework and I even did a freaking mindmap for studying purposes and DIY-ed a notebook for school today. LOL a total shocker to my friends and family but I'm really serious about the wanting-to-prove-people-wrong thing. But I can't help but to bend the attire rules. Because they are ri-di-cu-lous. And if the school wants to kick out all the pupils who wants to go against the rules so be it, that means they'd be kicking out half of the entire cohort, good luck *inserts new principal & vice-principal's name(what are their names again?)*

1st Day Of School

Hi to my ugly naked face in school.

Okay so I'm really tryna keep up with fulfilling one of my 2012 resolutions by blogging almost daily, so why not blog about school? I realize that I've never really been blogging 'bout what's going on in school and all(because sometimes there is really nothing to blog about) so I shall just update on the first day of school for the sake of updating. And of course remembrance for the future. Hehehe. I had a hard time falling asleep because I've been sleeping really late at night for the past 2 months and waking up in the noon so it's difficult for me to "switch" back my body clock, I only had 2 hours of sleep so my eyebags were horrendous. It was great seeing all my friends in school again though, especially seeing my guy friends in long pants now. :P

Had a hard time deciding whether to give the morning assembly a miss or not hahaha it was so bloody humid but I went with Aiqin anyway since it's the first day. And I totally regretted dyeing my hair back to black!! My friends freaking went to school with orange hair and they didn't f*cking get caught !#@%$^@&!(*#!)@ How can?!?!

Anyway, not going to go into details about what we did and the lessons we had. Just felt kinda... offended by the fact that my class is being frowned upon by some people. Yeah, I'm in the last express class. But it's just that we're not strong in one stupid subject, which is mathematics. And the freaking system even put those people who got F9 for maths in the second and third best class, so why judge?

Anyway, I've started taking down notes and stuff and paying attention in class. I'm being seated right in front of the teacher's table(because my teacher didn't want me to use my handphone wtf) but I'm thankful anyway because that way I can listen and learn better. And I am not being sarcastic thanks.  Gonna tryyyy to attain maybe slightly better-than-average results and prove to those judgemental + stereotypical people in school that girls with skirts more than 3 fingers above their knees, pupils with more than a pair of piercing, socks that are not above their ankles, coloured hair or long fringe, can ACTUALLY study.

Most teachers look at me and they automatically think that I'm in the NA or NT stream. When they go to my class and see me in an Express class, they go, "Are you sure you're in the right class" blah blah blah. What's with the stereotyping seriously, I thought you guys were supposed to be the mature adults? Guess not.
