Six more days until the start of the new semester. I wish we were given a longer holiday. Then again, nothing lasts forever. But still, it takes me by surprise that one month is passing by so quickly. I finally understood how precious time is. My top priority is to study and I hope I won't get distracted or do anything that would affect my studies as a result of peer pressure. I have a goal this year.
Anyway, met Michelle today and we went to Raffles City to have our lunch at Potato Depot. I love potatoes. All the mouthwatering food like french fries, hashbrowns, potato wedges and potato chips come from potatoes, right?? Are there any more places in Singapore that has the most wonderful baked potatoes(at a reasonable price, of course)? If you do know, please tell me!
Every meal(I had the one with the chicken in it; $9.90) comes with their soup of the day, a salad and a drink. It was yummers!! We explored around City Link Mall afterwards. I wanted to find this piercing aftercare spray called "H2Ocean" which many people were raving about online there but I called the so called shop that has it at the mall and the person told me I had the wrong number. Stupid...
Headed over to Bugis afterwards. Went to check out the Macadamia Natural Oil healing product for the hair(many many many gurus online have been doing reviews and going on about how amazing that product is) at SASA, I tried it onto my hair and it was indeed AMAZING. My hair went from dull and dry to silky and smooth... But I didn't purchase it in the end because 30 bucks for a teeny weeny bottle... I don't think it was worth it. I might try to hunt for it online! Hehe.
Had yummy froyo after that, every tuesdays and thursdays you'd get a buy 1 get 1 free offer from frolick! (good deals must share)
Mich and I took more pictures on our iPhones though, thank you Steve Jobs the iPhone is so bloody efficient. Hopefully the rumours about the iPhone 5 is true because I wanna get it(for better-quality photos taken by the front camera) ;-)
We went over to the 'old' Iluma(which is apparently called bugis+ now hahaha we were joking about how a the future malls in bugis would be called bugis minus, bugis mutiply, bugis division and all) and there was Sephora!!!! How can I not know about it and miss it the last time I went there wtf is this sorcery really. Gonna save up and buy the naked palette because I've been eyeing it forever and it's like... $80. It's selling at $50 in the US le sigh I love Singapore but the goods here can be so pricey sometimes I wish I lived in the US. Nonetheless it is extremely safe here and I still love SG very very very much ♥
Checked out some outlets like New Look and Pull&Bear, I'm starting to like bugis+. Hahaha Iluma was awfully boring compared to how it's like now. We went to Bugis Street and I'm starting to dislike going there. It's still an ah lian/ah beng paradise and some people there are just weird(it's not the way they look it's the way they ACT) if you wanna find cheap and pretty apparels, sure, but you have to look really hard for it. The only thing I got from there was an A7X t-shirt...... and the shop owners were a little rude. Anyhoo, we had a light dinner and went home afterwards because I was dead tired from the lack of sleep and................. I wanted to watch the 99th episode of Running Man. HEE. xo
